A method I've found which alleviates this for my brain is to write my main entry on the right hand page of the notebook spread, leaving the left hand page for corrections, additions and further thoughts and clarifications. Yes, I go through a notebook more quickly, because writing is usually not as dense on the left hand page, but this gives me "permission" to have an imperfect pass at my initial entry, and even encourages me to review past entries to make further notes about them. Just one suggestion.
