Bull Durham isn't a better movie than Field of Dreams, but it is a better baseball movie. What I mean by this, it is a film about baseball and the love of it (the same way A League of Their Own is). Most films about baseball are more about the nostalgia of baseball and less about the game itself, including Field of Dreams. Just my view.
