By the way, just to add another log on the note taking fire, if you like Scrintal you should also check out Heptabase.
It's similar to Scrintal in that it uses card metaphors to house your notes on whiteboards, but it has a few additional features. It requires you to purchase a subscription even though it is still in "beta," but I think you can cancel it after a week. This isn't a recommendation, just a sharing of another note app, because we love these things.
