Great list. I'd have to find a place for Jeremiah Johnson on my list of greatest adventure films, unless it is relegated to westerns... which, to me, it isn't. I'd add The Right Stuff, but I think an adventure film needs to have one, maybe two, central heroes. The Right Stuff is replete with them.
