I have to respectfully disagree with you. Of the three reboots, I find this the worst for two reasons. First the beauty of the original series is the interplay among the characters. This film keeps Spock and Kirk separated throughout. The other factor, also relating to Into Darkness, is the complete disregard Abrams has for the laws of physics and the immensity of the galaxy. For example, the Enterprise rising out of the depths of the ocean in Into Darkness. How the Enterprise flies through the large space station in this film. And, in Into Darkness, the inescapable implication is that the Klingon home world is only one day's travel from Earth. It ruins a film when I keep saying, "Give me a break!"
