I live in a rural area of Vermont where cell coverage is spotty at best. Every now and then I can make a call on it, when I'm at work and coverage is better. I do get texts from time to time. It helps to not have friends who want to text. I'd dump my iPhone (any cell phone for that matter) if I found a handier device for taking photos, counting my steps and playing my audiobooks. I've always thought that any mobile phone is more of a leash than anything else.
