I love your National Park reports. Your photos are beautiful, and your perspective is refreshing. My wife and I visited Arches several years ago and did many of the same hikes as you. Arches is a special place for me, because I am a fan of Edward Abbey, who wrote about his time as a ranger there in Desert Solitaire. It was like a pilgrimage for me. Thanks for the great story.
