I share your "exasperation" at all the new note managers flying our way. I use both Milanote and Scrintal to some extent or another. Milanote is more mature than Scrintal, which has a ways to go. In my opinion, Milanote is better for mixing media and creating siloed boards. Scrintal is a better choice if you're looking for a Zettlekasten. Just my views.
