I too have a foot each in the Mac and Windows arenas, as I use a Mac at home and a PC at my office. I have often been bemused that there seems to be a dearth of quality apps for writing in Windows. I've tried Typora, which is perhaps the most beautiful of plain text editors, but it didn't stick. I haven't liked iA Writer. Mostly the problem is, I think, I want Ulysses on Windows. The ideal solution would be if Ulysses would provide a browser version, but that doesn't appear to be in the cards.
