I was expecting an awful experience, especially with Pattinson as Bruce Wayne. But I was most pleasantly surprised. I never felt the movie was too long. It is going to sound strange, but this felt more realistic than any other Batman movie. Not there weren't scenes of comic book action, but they just felt more realistic than most super hero films, and I appreciated that. And I liked the transformation of Batman from avenging vigilante, to super hero.
