I've only watched Interstellar once, and was disappointed. Much of this disappointment stemmed from the fact that the movie was hyped as being scientifically sound... having Kip Thorne involved helped sell this idea. But even my layman's mind could see through the science holes. I wrote up an article about what bothered me about the film here:

Your retrospective look at the film, however, has prompted me to want to see Interstellar again. Maybe going into it with a more realistic expectation about the science (i.e. Hollywood can't ever get the science right in science fiction), will help me appreciate the movie the way you do.
