Since you allowed a TV series to be part of your list, I would also nominate the series Roadies, which was created by Cameron Crowe. Unfortunately it got cancelled by Showtime after one season. It was a fun show featuring the made-up Staton-House Band, though it was more about the people who swirled around the band while it was on tour. Terrific cast. Worth finding to stream.
