Thank you for opening a discussion of Robin Hood films with this much needed re-evaluation of this film. My all-time favorite Robin Hood is Errol Flynn, but this film is pretty good. I don't really care about historical accuracy in such films, honestly. The film with Patrick Bergan (also called Robin Hood) seems the most accurate and features my favorite Maid Marion (Uma Thurman). It's a decent film too.
