The Empire had a huge PR problem, all stemming from their regrettable phrase for the part of the "Force" they lived in. Had they chosen to call it the "Bright Side" instead of the "Dark Side" they might have managed to hold on to power a lot longer. But at least they can be credited with truth in advertising.
