Time after time, when a new company assumes ownership of an established app, the app languishes and often is discontinued. That does NOT seem to be the case with Evernote. Bending Spoons seems to have a vision for the product, though it seems to me that they are not being very ambitious with it. Perhpas that's wise. There is room in the market for an app that just handles your notes, without requiring you to spend hours on a learning curve. It will be interesting to see.
