Two years ago, I was biking in Acadia National Park -- which has some wonderful carriage roads perfect for touring the park on bicycle -- and I noticed this. Ebikes gave people with no experience bicycling on small roads with other bikers access. They had no idea of the etiquette of passing other bikers and walkers, for example. While I didn't see any accidents, it surely seemed they would be inevitable, especially as usage was sure to go up.
